Guy Fawkes

On Friday night, I went to a Guy Fawkes party.
When we got to the party, it was about seven o'clock in the evening.
As soon as we jumped out of the car, we raced as fast as we could to the flying fox. We had to wait about five minutes to get our turn. At last, we got our turn. Emily and I went on together.
On the way back up, Emily was pulling me up while I was sitting on the flying fox. When Emily had nearly finished pulling me up, Josh started doing the helicopter  to me. The helicopter is when is when someone makes you bounce up and down on a flying fox. When we were almost up, people started yelling at us to hurry up so I started shouting at them.
After a couple more goes, we got bored with the flying fox so we decided to do something else. We decided to go and see the bonfire. Next to the bonfire, there was a tight rope on a tree. Charlotte, Paige and I started to play on it.
Soon, it was fireworks time. The fireworks lit up the sky and looked like a thousand colourful stars.
Soon, the fire works were finished and, a bit later, we went home.
I had such a good time.

Getting Baptised

It was last week on a windy saturday afternoon. I was so excited because was getting baptised and I will tell you why.

My dad thought my family and I should get baptised because last year he started going to church. He quite liked it so he decided to get us  baptised.

lots of people came to our baptism. My God parents Angus and Mia had to come down to Ngaruawahia all the way from Auckland. They said that they were going to take me up to there house for a weekend and spoil me rotten.

In the church it looked beautiful with lots of pretty candles lit up and the big organ. In the middle of the ceremony Ivan the vicar asked my family to come up and lean sideways over this big wooden bowl on a stand. When we were leaning over the bowl Ivan poured freezing cold water over our foreheads.

Once we were all dry Ivan put holy oil on our foreheads that smelt really really nice. The only problem with the oil is that it stung my forehead.

When the baptism was over I felt so happy with myself because I was officially baptised.

Go Noah The Prodution

Have you heard about the amazing Go Noah production St Paul's put on last night. It all started about six weeks ago.

We all were told our parts (I was so happy that I was a small bird) then we started practising. My partner was my friend Montana. We got to be centre stage it was so cool.

In the production I got to have four talking lines and one singing line. I was so excited.

We had two dress rehearsals. My costume had a brown t-shirt white bojos and brown wings that went on our arms.

On the night of the real thing I was so excited but nervous at the same time. I was thinking to myself what if I forget the words to one of the songs what if I muck up my lines. In the end it all went down pretty well.

I thought everybody did very well. I can’t wait until next year.

Rocket Ropes

At Rocket Ropes you are about six meters off the ground on ropes I went there for my birthday I invited my best friend Charlotte.

When we got to Rocket Ropes the only person that went on the  obstacles with Charlotte and I was my dad because Cleo didn't want to go on the obstacles mum  had to look after Rex and Paige didn't feel very well at at all so they went across the road to Butterfly Creek.

The obstacles were really freaky but fun but luckily we got through the course. I thought Rocket Ropes was awesome.

We still wanted to do something else so we asked if we could go on this massive flying fox called the Zip Line. we went on it twice I crash landed both times we went.

I love Rocket Ropes I hope I can go again some time.
